Alignement points from MathType equations can be converted to PowerMath. If you convert MathType to WWdoc for use in PowerMath, alignment information is built into the WWdoc equations. When PowerMath imports the WWdoc, it will not automatically align the equations. To align them as they were in MathType, select the equations to align, and in PowerMath select "PowerMath™ Align Equations" under the “Utilities” menu. The equations will be aligned as they were in MathType.

Unfortunately, due to the OLE information that MathType uses, PowerMath spacing cannot be imported into MathType. All alignment points and spacing will be disregarded when building to MathType.
