Security

MathMonarch 6.0 is a powerful tool, and special security steps have been taken to protect the copyright as well as the consumer. The nature of the security is hardware based, using an encryption "dongle" (a device that plus in to your computer via USB or Parallel port) to verify your license. The dongle uses Windows drivers for the interface, which are installed silently during the MathMonarch install.

To operate MathMonarch, you need to insert your security dongle before clicking on the MathMonarch icon. Should you attempt to launch MathMonarch before you have inserted the device, you will receive an error stating that you need to insert your security dongle, followed by an error saying that MathMonarch.dll could not be found. You will need to exit Word, insert your dongle, and restart Word before running MathMonarch again.

Should you receive this error following the correct operating procedure, restart your computer without the dongle in. Once Windows has loaded, insert the dongle, and wait 30 seconds before launching Word. If the problem persists, it is possible your security dongle is corrupt. Please contact technical supports (support@monarchsuite.com) to receive a replacement.
