To import a document in TeX, open the document in Microsoft Word and launch MathMonarch.
Select TeX as the source, and then your preferred destination. Click "OK", and the document
will begin to convert. After the conversion is complete, the new document will be opened
in a new window under the original filename with ".mm1" appended to the end. The final number
will increment according to the version. Should the TeX import contain errors, a message box
will alert that errors were found, and ask if you would like to see the log. The log will
contain detailed information as to what TeX codes could not be imported and why.
Please note that definition-intensive TeX is difficult to import as the user can define
their own tags. Documents which are heavily laced with such definitions may not import
sufficiently. Contact MonarchSuite should you need a personalized TeX import filter.
To export TeX, select the source your document is in and change the destination to be TeX.
MathMonarch will export clean, definition-free TeX "islands"; that is, individual TeX equations
nested in your Word document. You will notice that WWdoc is placed in a comment line at the
beginning of each equation: this information allows a faster and error-free import back into
WWdoc. Removing the comment line is not recommended.
