MTV is a diagnostic program that will verify all of the WWdoc inside your document, and report any errors in a detailed log. MTV will not make automated replacements, or require any user input until after the document has been searched. To start MTV, click the "MathTag Verification" box in the Features area of the Control Center, and press "OK".

If you have consistent errors and wish to automate the replacement process, MathMonarch can replace all mis-keyed terms with the correct value. Selecting an option that uses a WW library (WWL) starts the process. This feature allows the user to replace all invalid WWdoc with the correct values, while the document itself does not change. When building back into MathType™, the correct values will be replaced and built into each equation.

The MTV window will appear, giving you several options to choose from: check for errors with True WWdoc -Use this to run a scan of all WWdoc in your document. No libraries will be used, and an error log will be displayed. check for errors with user defined library -This opens a previously created user library (WWL). Changes that your library contains will be considered as the document is checked. check for errors with user defined library -This option checks your document with a library, and allows you to add replacements to your library by launching the WWdoc editor. update document based on user defined library -This option will physically make the changes to your document based on replacements made a library, and the changes will be reflected instantly in the current document. create new library -Opens a "Save As..." dialog to create a new library.

Once you have made a selection, MTV will begin to search your document for any invalid WWdoc equations. If there are no errors, the program will prompt you on completion that all your WWdoc is keyed correctly. If you are using a previous library, any terms that were fixed or replaced will not show up again as errors.

If you chose an option that launches the WWdoc editor, MTV will inform the editor of any errors found in the document, and the replacements can be made from inside the editor. For more information about the editor, see the help topic "WWdoc Editor".
